June is the "Month of Money" for IMCA Modifieds at MoTown

Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds will see big payout during the month of June this season. One racer could go home after five Friday nights of IMCA Speedway Motors weekly racing with a potential of $4,700.00 minimum. “This is exciting for us at Marshalltown.” commented promoter Jerry Vansickel. “We are blessed to have a great group of sponsors that are making this happen and helping the weekly IMCA Modified racer.”
Friday June 2nd will see the Inaugural Capital Sign Company “Twin Topless Dirty 30’s”. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds will go topless and compete for $1,200.00 to win, $120.00 to start 30 lap main event. Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods will race topless also for a top prize of $1,000.00 and $100.00 to start. Each division will be draw / redraw with a $20.00 entry fee.
Then, P&D Welding Solutions of Nevada, Ia will award $1,000.00 to the top finisher in the Modified Feature on June 9th. They’re not stopping there; the Inaugural “Structural Shoot-Out” will see 16 Modified racers taking on each other in a 4 car per round bracket style race with the top 2 moving to the next round. The winner of the final round will pocket $500.00. Second thru fourth in the Shoot-Out will also be rewarded for their efforts. P&D Welding Solutions will present a one of a kind custom made steel trophy for the winner also.
Week three of money moves to Friday June 16th with the Midwest Liquid Systems “Friday After the Creek”. Top prize is another $1,000.00 top prize to the winner for this annual event has been held the Friday after the Clash at the Creek at our sister track, Francis Creek, Wi speed plant 141 Speedway.
Weeks four and five June 23rd and 30th of the big money month see two IMCA Speedway Motors weekly racing night sponsored by RBF Electric and Minute Man Printing. Each of these nights will pay the new for 2023 weekly minimum to the Modifieds of a $500.00 prize to the winner.
The Karl Auto Group Marshalltown Speedway has always been “What Friday nights are made for”, but now with big bonuses and increased weekly purses in all classes, Friday nights have been made bigger for 2023.
