IMCA Modifieds headline Sept. 16-17 World Nationals at Marshalltown
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Two thousand dollars is the top prize for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds both nights of Marshalltown Speedway’s Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17 World Nationals.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods also race for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win and $250.00 for IMCA Mach-1 Sport Compacts both nights.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and state points will be awarded. Modified winners become eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational, Stock Car winners for the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational.
Drivers in all divisions can pre-enter at marshalltownspeedway.com and pit passes are $30.
Pit gates open at 5:15 p.m., the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. and racing is at 7:30 p.m. both days. Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and veterans, and kids ages 10 and under get in free.
Camping is $20 a night and showers are available on the grounds. Reservations can be made by emailing jvan@marshalltownspeedway.com.
