All eyes will be focused on the highbanks come Thursday, September 15th as race team converge onto the Marshalltown Speedway. Thursday night will see a complete Late Model show plus open hot laps for all other classes. The Driven Racing Oil Late Model feature event will pay $2,000 to win courtesy of Halabuilt Competition engines and $150 to start. The Late Model winner will also take home a Race Quip Safety Equipment Helmet and shoes as well as 2nd place earning a pair of racing shoes. On Friday night, the IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA SportMods, and IMCA Hobby Stocks will be running a complete show. The Stock Cars and SportMods will be chasing a $1,000 top prize as the Hobby Stocks race for $500 to win. A special thanks to Drury Automotive for putting up $150 cash per night for the Hard Charger in the SportMod division. The Modifieds will follow the IMCA rules with the exception of no crates allowed at this event as they run qualifying heats on Friday paying $100 to win. The ModifiedS will be inverted for the second set of heats and the top 10 in points will advance to Saturday nights non-stop 50 lapper. The Modifed drivers will earn passing and finishing positions points in their respective heat race events. On Saturday night, the IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA SportMods, and IMCA Hobby StockS will run the same format/pay scale from Friday night. The Modifieds will run 5 last chance events qualifying 2 for the big dance. Later in the program, the Final Four race will be run taking starting positions 21 thru 24 to the 50 lap race. Saturday will also have the Driven Racing Oil Dash for the top 10 Modifieds paying $200 to the winner. Once again this year, the Modified victor will take home $10,000 plus the coveted title belt. The Modified feature race will pay $500 to start. Heartland Auto Racing Trade Show will ante up $10 for each lap led during the Modified feature event. The following are some World Nationals fast facts:
-Hot laps begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a complete Late Model program.

-Racing on Friday and Saturday will start at 7:00 p.m.

-Pits will open at 4:00 p.m. each day, grandstands at 5:00 p.m.

-Speed Shift TV will broadcast all three days of the event.

-Pit passes Thursday and Friday are $25, Saturday is $30. Three day pass is $65.
